Which Background Is Better?

I had in mind to stick an angel on this years' Christmas card. As I got working, my angel turned out to be a Madonna Icon instead. I am pleased with the result.

Which background do you prefer? I'm thinking maybe the red is better. The second one's not bad either, perhaps just a sharper image is needed. I don't have much time to decide as the overseas cards have to be in the mail by Monday.

I like the red better. It is more holiday and brings out the gold better.

She's great! and yes, I am very partial to the red background, as well. Thanks for your comment on my blog.

Hi Inga I agree with everyone else that red looks best. Don't worry about when we do our swap there is no rush, with Christmas and this busy time of year we can do it after xmas if you like. Belinda

Absolutely, red is the way to go!!
I need to get on that sort of thing too...
I went grocery shopping yesterday; bought just about everything we'll need for Christmas dinner etc. to get the extra Air Miles Points, because from December 12th - 15th you get extra (LOTS of extra)points.
Only one problem. It was the 5th; not the 12th!
Yea, loooooots of time. :o[

They are both wonderful backgrounds, but I have to believe I have to agree with the general concensus that the red is my favourite, especially for the festive season. Beautiful cards, I am sure the recipients will be very excited to receive these.

Wishing you and yours much happiness and peace at Christmas and for 2009.
