First Prize

I was floored when I learned that this little dolly of mine won First Prize in the Stuffed Doll or Animal category at our local Fall Fair.

Like the man said "It's déjà vu all over again". This is the second time in my life that I've been honoured with a red ribbon. The first time was almost 50 years ago when I took first place in a sprint competition at our grade school field day event. I was very proud of myself back then and after that, I never went on to do another athletic thing. This time, for not being so proud, I hope the sewing gods will continue to shine on me.

YAY!!! Good for you! Now, you're hooked! Hehe It's even fun to get the list of catorgories in the winter to plan your entries for next year! She is a beautiful doll; I can see why you got 1st! Happy Sewing!

INGA!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS on winning top honors.... Certainly a well deserved decision! she is beautiful... The Fairs are such fun aren't they? The one I usually enter into (London, Ontario) discontinued the Home Arts this year!!! How disappointing as I participated for many years. Things go too commercial now-a-days!!:-{
Anyway good for you for winning top prize.. This will just open the door for bigger and better things..
