I have been asked to participate in an artisan show this summer with the proviso that I stay at my booth and demonstrate what I do. I enjoy painting and stitching as a solitary activity - just me (with very good lighting) and my music playing while I work. This is going to be an outdoor event which means you can always count on a breeze and I can see my threads flying all over the place. I guess I'll give it some more thought but I am inclined to turn it down.
A more immediate concern is my scheduled flight to Europe in three weeks. I sure hope the air clears and it will be safe to fly by then.

Hmm -- maybe you could work on faces?
You might find that you actually like working outside at the festival. If not, you can chalk it up to a new experience.
